Alexis de Tocqueville wrote this assessment on Islam.
“I studied the Quran a great deal. I came away from that study with the conviction that by and large there have been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammad. So far as I can see, it is the principal cause of the decadence so visible today in the Muslim world and, though less absurd than the polytheism of old, its social and political tendencies are in my opinion more to be feared, and I therefore regard it as a form of decadence rather than a form of progress in relation to paganism itself.”
National Review Online, dated 6 January 2005 had this to say on the Islamic religion.
“After a tsunami devastated the South pacific on 26 December 2004, Australia and the United States alone pledged more than one billion dollars in aid. Oil-soaked Arab countries- Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Algeria, Bahrain, and Libya- made a combined pledge of less than one-tenth of this amount. One reason for this: Islamic teachers attributed the tsunami to the sins committed by infidels and Muslims in the heavily Islamic Indonesia. As one Saudi cleric said: “It happened at Christmas when fornicators and corrupt people from all over the world come to commit fornication and sexual perversion.”
Qur’an 9:73 states: “O Prophet! Strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is H*ll, an evil refuge indeed. (Strive hard = jihad.)
Qur’an 9:111 states: Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs is the garden of Paradise; they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth.”
The three choices of the Qur’an for us infidels.
1. Convert.
2. Accept Dhimmi status (the liberal’s choice).
3. Death.
So, what EXACTLY is Dhimmi status? The Qur’an calls Jews and Christians “People of the Book” but Islamic LAW calls us Dhimmis, which translates to “the guilty” or “protected” people. We are guilty because we have distorted the true word of Allah while Hindus and Buddists are considered pagans. Thus, Islamic Law says that while we CAN live amongst Muslims in “their” lands, we must accept a second-class status. Thus, Islam will “be made uppermost above all other religions,” Qur’am 9:33.
Sharia Law states: “The subject peoples” (Dhimmis) “must pay the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya) and are distinguished from Muslims in dress.” (Yellow Star anyone?) “Must keep to the side of the street, may not build higher or as high as a Muslim building, no new churches, no wine or pork on display, cannot recite aloud the Torah or Gospel.” (That part suits the ACLU and the Liberals just fine.) And the penalty for violation? Death or slavery as suits the Muslim leader. This is the TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY and they still follow this.
Michael the Syrian (1126-1199) recorded that the Dhimmi status was a crushing burdern for the Christian under Caliph Marwan II.
“Marwan’s main concern was to amass gold and his yoke bore heavily on the people of the country. His troops inflicted many evils on the men: blows, pillages, outrages on women in their husband’s presence.”
It became even worse under one of his successor’s, al-Mansur. According to Michael, al-Mansur, “raised every kind of tax on all the people in every place. He doubled every type of tribute (tax) on Christian’s.”
Several Islamic commentators have stated: “The Dhimmi has to be made to feel that he is an inferior person when he pays, he is not to be treated with honor.” This ensures that the Muslims follows Qur’am 9:29.
Shafi’I jurist an-Nawawi directed that the “infidel who wished to pay his poll tax must be treated with disdain by the collector; the collector remains seated and the infidel remains standing in front of him, his head bowed and his back bent. The infidel personally must place the money on the scales, while the collector holds him by the beard, and strikes him on both cheeks. In Yemen and Morocco, jizya is still extracted from Jews.
So folks, we need to ask ourselves if we’re gonna fight back or roll over for the Islamofascists who seek to impose their will on us. It can be expected that the Dhimmicratic Party will convert en masse and leave the rest of us hanging in the breeze. “In troubled times, a smart warrior keeps his sword sharp and his intentions clear.” We are in a fight for our survival and appeasement is not an option.
