Brits blaze a path for US tax and spend LIBS

If you don't think that the Dhimmicratic Party is SOOOO ready to raise taxes across the board, IF they gain total power, then you are living in a dream world. Just take a look at how the liberals FULLY embraced the environment hocus-pocus spewed by The Goreacle and a whole host of idiots, who, BTW, made some serious cash off of the scam. WHEREVER there is illegal or shady cash being made, the path will lead to a Dhimmicrat, rest assured. From Hitlary Clinton's hand-in-glove actions with fugitive felon Hsu, to William "of the freezer money" Jefferson, to The Goreacle and the Buddhist fundraising scam.

Now, our cousins across the pond are feeling the pinch of their 1984 society run amok. From CCTV cameras on every lamppost, replete with directional microphones, to heavy taxes, British subjects ARE subjects, of runaway taxation under a runaway government.

In a recent poll (yesterday) nearly two-thirds of the [British] public believe ministers are using environmental fears as an excuse to raise tax revenue! Did THEY learn from The Goreacle or was it the other way around?
And research suggests their cynicism is justified, with green taxes raking in £10 billion more for the Treasury than it would cost to offset the entire UK's carbon footprint. The figures are contained in a dossier compiled by pressure group the TaxPayers' Alliance (TPA). This is an indictment of the leadership of Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Tory leader David Cameron, who are committed to making individuals pay for habits which damage the environment.

As the British economy continues to tank for the Nth year in a row, their leadership continues to pile on the taxes. The Gunny would think that the British public would rise up in anger but since they have been disarmed, they're pretty much screwed.

The survey showed that only a fifth of people thought politicians were genuinely trying to change behaviours using the tax system. In contrast, 63% believed they were using the issue as an excuse to pull in more cash.
Some 60% said fuel duty was an unfair tax, while 45% thought the same about air passenger duty, which was recently doubled by the Government. Using previous international research into climate change, the report estimated that covering the social cost of carbon emissions would have cost £11.7 billion in 2005. But receipts from green taxes such as fuel duty, road tax and the Climate Change Levy totalled £21.9 billion. On average every household in the UK paid £400 more in levies than it cost to cover their own footprint, the TPA claimed.

The once proud British Empire, now sheep led by other sheep.
