This is HILARIOUS! Here is a guy SO CORRUPT that he makes the Chicago cesspool that gave us Rezko, Blago, Dead Fish RahmBOY, and Dopey McChange, seeking to bring to trial Bush, Cheney, Rove, etc. Here is some of Conyers' better know scams.
1. John Conyers used taxpayer's money to have two staffers babysit his brats.
2. John Conyers accepted campaign donations from Saddam Hussein’s U.S. agent and oil-for-food scammer Shakir Alkhafaji.
3. John Conyers "liberated" 60 turkeys from a charity.
4. John Conyers wife Monica, a Councilwoman in Detroit’s ruling regime once threatened to SHOOT the mayor's aide and is ALSO under investigation in a Feedral Bribery case! Is she related to William Jefferson by chance?
5. John Conyers sent his aides in D.C. to Detroit to help his wife, Monica, win a state Senate seat. (She lost thank God).
6. John Conyers forced an aide (Maher) to campaign for Keith Williams for a seat on the Wayne County Commission. (He won).
7. John Conyers hired Carol Patton (legislative counsel on his personal staff) in 2003 to help Williams and JoAnn Watson in their attempts to get on the Detroit City Council gravytrain. She STILL works for Conyers and earns more than $44,000 per year! (2005 House statement of disbursements.)
8. John Conyers allowed Melody Light to conduct her law practice (for FEE) out of HIS congressional office. (Just slightly illegal)
9. John Conyers used taxpayer money to send HIS KIDS to The Cranbrook School (17-21K) per year.
It should be noted that this is the same fool who would love to turn the entier USA into a facsimile of Zimbabwe, like they've done in Detroit, complete with the socialist elites running the show but HE is going to bring Bush, Cheney, and Rove to trial. Liberals and hypocrisy, two words that go together like a shot of Bushmills and a Cuban cigar.
