WE Stand ALONE!

The Gunny has a troll on his site by the name of caday5. This clown recently brought up Saint Pancake aka Rachel Corrine, and mewled that she was some sort of valiant "freedom fighter." I covered her antics in a blog essay by the name of Saint Pancake but caday5's bleating got the Gunny thinking of just where the USA is in today's world.

First off, on leave in Spain, CNN International is so blatantly anti-American that the Europeans are drinking the kool-aid by the gallons. It made the Gunny ill to review such tripe. We can thank far-leftist Ted Turner aka the ex-Mrs Hanoi Jane Fonda for that. In the span of a few decades, they've not only forgotten what America has done for them not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR FRIGGING TIMES!

1. WW1.
2. WW2.
3. Marshall Plan.
4. Fifty PLUS years of overwatch in Western Europe against the Russian Bear.

How much of OUR treasure did we spend in the effort to keep Europe free? And now they are willingly dropping trou and bending over for a big dose of Socialism followed by an invasion of the radical Islamofascists, all ready busy burning cars in Paris and bring Old Blighty under Sharia Law (with the Archbishop of Canterbury's help.) What a total waste of our time, money, and effort.

Thus, we stand alone. And maybe that is how the only Superpower in the world SHOULD stand. Alone. At the top. The Captain of ANY ship stands alone. The Commanding Officer of any ground unit stands alone, especially when locked in combat. His or her unit stands or falls on THEIR decisions. America stands alone and we pretty much always have.

We cannot help our cousins in Britain unless they help themselves FIRST! They have de-evolved into a NANNY state where their subjects are photographed on average of 300 times A DAY! Indeed, the outflow of Brits to sunnier and less nanny-state climes is growing! Orwell would be horrified and Churchill is hitting about 3000 RPMs in his grave. Our fellow allies in Australia, once the bulwark in our comeback against the Japanese Empire in the dark days of 1942 is slowly being overcome by the flaccidity of liberal thinking and political correctness. Both Britain and Australia have drunk the liberal's hemlock by banning guns, kissing criminal's a**es, raising taxes through the roof, killing businesses, and buying into the globull warming hype much to the detriment of their economies. The rest of Europe, as well as our NATO "allies" are nothing more than sunshine friends. They always HAVE BEEN and always WILL BE. To rely on them for assistance would be to stake your future on Hillary Clinton never lying again or Obambi renouncing Wright the Racist. It ain't gonna happen.

Thus, "We Stand ALONE!" The United States of America has been vilified, castigated, and condemned from without for decades and now, our own fifth column liberals are beating that drum. We get blamed for EVERY problem in the world, in total ignorance of what we have done. Have a tsunami? Call 800 UNCLSAM. Have torrential rains and mudslides that destroy whole towns? No sweat, dial 800 UNCLSAM. Have famine? Overrun with disease, pestilence, or communists? Call us. Oh, and never fear, we'll never occupy or conquer you. Quite the opposite in fact. We'll send in Americans EAGER to help you rebuild your infrastructure, feed your people, teach you how to run a free market, build a nation and an economy, and then leave once the "Yankee Go Home!" signs come out, and never ask for a dime in return. We're the most generous nation on Earth and we pay for it daily. There it is. It stuns the mind to stand back and apply some critical thinking skills on just what we've DONE for the world and what our payback was and is. Maybe it's time the USA took some advice from Cicero. That is, "Oderint, dum metuant." (Let them hate, so long as they fear us.) We should ditch NATO, boot the UN (PLEASE!), and work on getting OUR HOUSE back in shape. If Europe gets whacked by al-Qaeda, sucks to be them, as long as OUR defenses are sound, OUR border SEALED, and our retaliation swift and sure. After a few strikes by AQ, they'll either wake up and smell the hummus or they'll submit. H*ll, they're already halfway there.

We did not invent democracy or capitalism but we sure as h*ll improved the old versions and slapped our "Made in USA" stamp on it. From the airplane to the car to the light bulb to the computer to the internet (thanks Al), America has been in the forefront of the world's progress. From 320,518 total casualties (KIA/WIA) in WW1 to 1,076,245 (KIA/WIA) in WW2 to 173,456 (KIA/WIA) in Korea and onward, we've shed our blood and paid our dues without hesitation. And for all that, what lands have we conquered? None. Through the intervention of America, we've molded and shaped our former enemies and now allies into stand-alone nations. The modern world created by the America is an economic jaggernaught with the Japanese, Taiwanese, and South Korean editions kicking butt. Made in Taiwan? Thank You America. Our basic values, beliefs, and institutions were provided and these societies adapted them and modeled them to fit their culture. These nations now work hard, create new products, enjoy wealth and comforts, a free press, and many other ideas that emanated from America. America and modernity are one and the same today and no matter where you go, EVERYONE is doing their level best to jump into a pair of Levi jeans!

Let's ask a simple question: What country has given more generously of their time, sweat, blood, and treasure than the USA throughout history? Simple answer: none. "Give us your poor, your tired, your huddled masses longing to be free..." THIS then is the measure of America. All we ask is that you come in the FRONT door, not swim the Rio Grande, and ASSIMILATE into the melting pot that USED to be celebrated by Americans until our own fifth columnists (Liberals) declared it "not politically-correct." Well, to the liberals, the ACLU, and the other enemies of America, the Gunny has but one thing to say..."Why don’t you go outside and play hide and go F-K yourselves?" The list of inventions America has given to the world includes: the sextant (developed independently in England AND the USA in 1731), cotton gin, sewing machine, car, refrigerator, telegraph, telephone, threshing machine, anesthetic, power tools (YEAH BABY!), oil wells, modern tumbler locks, typewriter, and perhaps most importantly, toilet paper! What OTHER nation has walked on the Moon, uses a space shuttle regularly, the Hubble Telescope, or sends exploration vehicles to the edge of the solar system and then GIVES that information to the rest of the world? WE DO! What other cultures have made such meaningful contributions from BEFORE they were a nation to the modern era? Again, none. They have all followed in our trail and thus, glaringly hate us and also ENVY us for it.

As Europe becomes more and more Islamicized, let's examine how well Islam has done throughout history, which will show where Europe is headed. They [Islam] like to think that they are the rival of the Great Satan but the stark reality of it is that they are a corrupt and defunct civilization that demands bakeesh for every act. Islam spawns corruption, pain and suffering, poverty, a**-backwardness, and economic hardship wherever they are in power. To be blunt, if not for American engineers and oil companies, Muslims would still be burning camel crap for fuel and using camels as their main mode of transportation! Islam is a stagnating culture and is taking command of Europe only through the European's lack of will to stand up for themselves. Maybe America is to blame for that seeing as how we've been wiping their noses since 1945. Mea Culpa. Truly, only America has been a continuing success. The Europeans, the Chinese, Africa, India, etc, have all enjoyed a measure of prosperity and success in their past but NONE of them has been able to erect a modern society based on their own values and beliefs, and be successful over the long haul at it. Only America has.

Why?

America shamelessly embraces capitalism and democracy and that is as it should be. Liberals embrace the failed ideology of Socialism that has failed in every instance throughout history and is currently dragging Europe down, but they are too stupid to see the abyss it creates. The American values of capitalism, a free market, and democracy have resulted in massive prosperity, human rights increases, and serious advances in places like South Korea and Japan, both US allies since 1945. Liberals and their radical Islamic allies would have us believe that all cultures are equal (multi-culturalism and diversity) but this is simply pure bull squeeze that doesn't hold up to the light of day. In fact, it is a lie from the Left worthy of their buddy "Uncle Joe" Stalin! But not ALL Islamic nations are backwards and corrupt! The UAE and Qatar have adopted modern US ideals and as they "westernize" ala the USA, they are becoming the most civilized and prosperous countries in the Middle East! Take THAT Osama bin Laden as you snack on cave rat and a few fava beans. If the Middle East wants justice, prosperity, and modern advancement, it'll be along ideals espoused by the USA, not Europe, China (see Tibet), or Iran! If nothing else, history clearly shows that the ONLY way to progress and enjoy life, is the American Way. They can modify and adapt our values to their culture but it's OUR values and beliefs of democracy, capitalism, and freedom that make the difference. That's not to say that America doesn't have warts, we do, but as Stephen Decatur stated: "Our country! In her intercourse with foreign nations, may she always be in the right; but our country, right or wrong!" America's liberals have forgotten that or worse still, blatantly IGNORE that!

Speaking of liberals, America's internal enemies have been busy gnawing away at the bedrock of our nation like termites on a log cabin. They've deployed their weapon system, liberally-indoctrinated teachers and multiculturalism. They seek to pollute our culture with the values and beliefs of corrupt and failed cultures. Through organizations like the ACLU, created by Roger Baldwin in 1920, first known as the National Civil Liberties Bureau (NCLB), provided legal aid for conscientious objectors, criminals, and spies being prosecuted under the Espionage Act of 1917 or the Sedition Act of 1918! From the START, they worked to protect those who worked against America. The liberal's and their ACLU allies have used multiculturalism, over a few decades of relentless attacks on the US, to weaken the confidence Americans have for their nation and they have worked overtime to weaken our resolve to stand up in the defense of our nation, militarily, diplomatically, and politically. Liberals truly are the enemy of America and in listening to their forerunners, Hitlery and Obambi, one can easily see the stamp of Gramsci, Marx, Lenin, and Stalin on them.

In closing, we would be better served to reflect on the miracle that the United States IS! WE are the culture DIRECTLY responsible for the existence of the modern world. Arrogant? H*LL YES! TRUE? H*LL YES! Period. End of story. All Americans should GLORY in that fact and be PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! We MUST grasp this idea and expound upon it, time and time again, so that we, as Conservative Americans, can defend our Nation against its enemies, both foreign and domestic. When we LAY DOWN for one moment, it allows the liberals to use "incrementalism" on us, like a frog dropped into a pot of cold water. Indeed, as the Gunny posted a day or two ago, ("The Gunny's Reading List") our motto MUST BE: "READ! THINK! ATTACK!" The old bumper sticker of the 70's springs to mind as the Gunny writes this. It went: "GOD, GUNS, and GUTS made America free. Let's keep all three!" Truer words were never spoken.
