   As the Supreme Court of the United States prepares to rule on the illegal handgun ban that DC foisted upon their populace in 1976, let's ask ourselves a few questions about our lawmakers and more importantly, how WE are faced with violent crime, crime that our so-called leaders would have us face UNARMED!

1. If the Feds were to completely ban firearms, do you think that this will lessen or increase the amount of armed criminals in America?

2. Why are the rich elites (pols too) allowed to have armed bodyguards yet many of us cannot legally carry a firearm for protection? Are their lives more important than anyone else's?

3. If criminals prefer a firearm to commit crimes with, is there any reason that they are no good enough for personal protection or home defense?

4. Why do members of our government (Dems) want to be the only ones with weapons? Do they think we're too dumb to possess them?

5. There are 22,000+ gun laws on the books (BATF) yet criminals are still using them. So why does gun crime still exist with all of these laws?

   Indeed, one really has to question the agenda that liberals have when it comes to gun confiscation and illegal gun bans. There is strong evidence that, as Sgt Relic observed, liberals start every day with a clean slate of history. The point being that liberals seriously could not learn a lesson from history even if we whacked them over the head with it. For example, in 1911, Turkey executed gun control and collected the weapons of the minority-Armenian population. Then, just four short years later, began a genocide that left 1.5 million Armenians dead, after being rounded up like cattle. Then, in a country that liberal NY Times writer Walter Duranty claimed was a paradise, the USSR implemented gun control that left over 20 MILLION dead in just 24 years (1929-1953). That's about 833K murdered a year. In subsequent gun bannings, Germany, China, Cambodia, Rwanda, Guatemala, Uganda, over 34 million people were exterminated without the ability to fire a shot in self-defense.

   So, keeping the above in mind, here are a mere two quotes out of dozens available, from liberal politicians who would disarm us in the blink of an eye...if they could, and if WE let them!

"Banning guns is an idea whose time has come." Senator Biden (D-DE)

"The National Guard fulfills the militia mentioned in the Second Amendment. Citizens no longer need to protect the states or themselves." Senator Feinstein (D-CA)

It is quite evident that Diane Feinstein, or, MILCON Feinstein as she is known in the Senate, has never taken the time out to read and understand the Second Amendment as it is written in the Bill of Rights. So lets refresh Dianne's memory here.

   A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Now there is absolutely no ambiguity in this Amendment other than what liberals try to muddy the waters with. Very succintly, our Founding Fathers stated, keep your frigging hands off of the people's guns. Moreover, the words SHALL NOT, do not mean, maybe, or, could be, and the word infringed is also starkly clear. The word, infringed, in Websters is defined as: to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another. Thus, it can be stated with a great deal of truth that our Founding Fathers expected the Federal Government NOT to create ANY LAW that violated the right of free men and women to keep and bear arms. Period.

   This brings us to the huge myth that liberals LOVE to perpetuate. That is, the availability of guns causing crime. This is pure garbage and here are the facts to debunk this hoary old lie that libs trot out as needed.

1. Since 1970, firearms ownership has INCREASED steadily yet the overall rate of homicides and suicides has not risen. (FBI Crime Stats, 1972-1995)

2. Over eighty percent of criminals acquired their weapons from the black-market. This often consists of criminals selling a gun they used in a crime or crimes to other criminals to use in the commission of a crime(s)!

3. The weapons possessed by criminals are overwhelmingly stolen and again, are often passed on to other felons for a price.
  
   Terrorists and Criminals have one real common trait and that is that they are motivated by opportunity. Both terrorists and criminals (and liberals too) seek to attack soft targets like houses without a firearm in them, people unarmed by the law, people's paychecks, our wallets, etc. When the do-gooders, i.e., liberals and RINOs work overtime to reduce our ability to arm ourselves, it provides felons more opportunities to hit soft targets. Again, it must be noted that liberals have a hard-time understanding and assimilating factual data as the high-crime cities are ALWAYS those run by liberals and who have the most restrictive gun control laws. The same laws that criminals, unbelievably so, choose to ignore!

   Next, remember when most of us were young kids, in the 50s, 60s, and early 70s? Many of us had BB guns, pellet guns, and .22 rifles and often, after earning Dad's trust, went off on hunting sprees with a buddy or two in the local woods. Well, evidently, boys who are introduced to firearms and who are allowed to use them have a much lower rate of delinquency and drug usage than boys who dont.** How can this be? Two words, trust and responsibility, which seem to have fallen out of the modern liberal's lexicon. Let me explain to any liberals reading this. It is FUN to go out shooting and hunting and plinking with your buddies and moreover, it helps to produce a responsible adult since you are expected to act in a certain way (be safe) and if not, the resulting confication of one's firearm by Dad, (after a butt-whipping) is serious punishment and long-remembered. Also, and this may damage some liberal's gentle psyche, but tramping the woods with a gun, somehow satifies the thrill-seeking need inherent in young boys/men. Also, when your family is eating what you brought down, squirrel, deer, rabbt, dove, etc, the food just somehow tastes better.

   In summation, it's way past the time for us common Americans, who live day in and day out, outside of gated communities, who don't have bodyguards, who don't have their own police force on hand, (Capitol Police, Pacific Heights PD, Beverley Hills PD) just waiting to serve and protect us like they do the rich and shameless in our society, to stand up and be counted! Does not the single woman rate to protect herself as much as Senator Feinstein does, who, by-the-way, has a carry-concealed permit for California which goes out of its way to DENY such rights to ordinary citizens? Indeed, liberal activist Sean Penn had not one but TWO weapons stolen out of his car, that he was allowed to carry legally. Two guns? Hmmm, wonder what Freud would say about that! It is time for Americans to THINK about what they are doing when they yank the lever in November. Will YOU be one of the one's responsible for putting a gun-grabber into office? For once guns are gone, history shows that the other rights once enjoyed are gone as well, its just a matter of time and lives.
