Iraqis help the USA!

The Gunny has said it before and will no doubt say it again. "He'd rather have ONE IRAQI watching his back than a 1000 libturds!" Our newest allies are proving to be our BEST ally already. THEY know the sacifices that WE MAKE for them and they appreciate it far more than any American-born libturd ever will. The California fires have been estimated at more than $1 billion dollars in damages thanks to the enviros, arsonists, and the Santa Ana winds.

Well guess what. A group IRAQ soldiers have collected, assembled, and FOWARDED 1000.00 in the relief efforts to the thousands of people displaced by the still-burning California fires! How much has Germany, Japan, France, England, Brazil, the UN, or a HUNDRED other countries offered to us?

AB-SO-FRICKING-LUTELY ZERO. NADA. ZILCH. ZERO. NOTHING, NIL.

The report came from Army SFC Charlene Sipperly, of Bayfield, Colo., who works in the military's public affairs division, released a news statement about the concern the Iraqi soldiers expressed for the California victims.

"Members of the Iraqi Army in Besmaya collected a donation for the San Diego, Calif., fire victims …at the Besmaya Range Complex in a moving ceremony," she wrote. Iraqi Army Col. Abbass, the commander of the complex, presented a gift of $1,000 to U.S. Army Col. Darel Maxfield, Besmaya Range Complex officer in charge, Multi-National Security Transition Command Iraq, to send to the fire victims in California," she wrote.

"
The money was collected from Iraqi officers and enlisted soldiers in Besmaya."

Col. Abbass stated that, "he and the Iraqi soldiers were connected with the American people in many ways, and they will not forget the help that the American government has given the Iraqi people. Abbass was honored to participate by sending a simple fund of $1,000 to the American people in San Diego, to lower the suffering felt by the tragedy," the Army report said.

Let The Gunny put this into context. These Iraqi soldiers, living with danger day after day, with little to support their own families, donated ALMOST ONE MILLION DINAR! That is a heap of cash here in Iraq. They fight day after day to bring peace to their country, alongside coalition troops who WANT TO BE HERE TO HELP. And NOW, our newest ally is reaching out to help unfortunate Americans! This small group has donated more money to a good cause in one day than The Goreacle donated in ALL of 2004!
