A killer storm hit the midwest and left thousands of people hunkered down in emergency shelters and thousands stuck it out in darkened homes after a winter storm that left 54 dead in nine states. About 320,000 homes and businesses in several states were still without electricity late Tuesday after a storm that brought ice, snow, flooding and high winds to a swath of the country from Washington to Maine.
Proponents of Global Warmings have now changed their tunes.
"We're gonna be seeing more cold weather now that winter is here." Noted Global Warming advocate Ima Idjit said. She added, "our predictions of an impending Ice Age back in the 70's, which switched to Global Warming in the 90's and early 21st Century, have now switched back to the old Ice Age theory."
Subfreezing temperatures were expected to continue in the Midwest for another several years or so, said Global Warming advocate and noted Meteorologist Harry Numbnuts. "Get used to it," he stated, "We're going to have to move underground in order to escape Gaia's wrath for being evil human beings."
"There are no services," one resident said. "I've talked to poeple who have lived here 50 years and nobody can remember it ever being this bad. I'm digging my home right now," he pointed to a huge hole in the ground.

asked the Federal government on Tuesday for disaster aid. There are millions of illegal aliens here in Mexifornia that need our continued protection, he informed the Feds. "This is not just about them this year, they need at least another 50 years of aid and comfort."
